With e-Books, even small publishers can promote titles for every season and every holiday of the year. As cover designers, we need to have unlimited ideas on how to reflect those seasons.

Personally I’m always careful to ask clients what season the story takes place in (and where – California winter is very different from Minnesota winter!) so I can accurately depict it.
