If you have your own list of book bloggers, a great way to generate buzz is to pre-prepare your own posts about cover reveals, new releases or sales. Then interested bloggers need only cut and paste the HTML into their blog editor and BOOM! Instant blog post.
So what goes into these posts? It depends on what you’re doing but typically the book cover, of course and a short summary. You should include your buy links, and maybe an author bio. You might like to include some review blurbs and/or and excerpt.
And to make it look pretty – teaser graphics and an event banner. That’s where I come in with my Marketing Packages. But if you want to pre-prepare your html but aren’t sure how, I can help with that too. This is an hourly service and will usually take about one hour at $35 per hour.
Here’s an example of a Promo Post I did this week for Bibi Rizer (on one of my demo pages). You can see it here on Cover Your dreams too. Notice how the HTML automatically adjusts to the parameters of your blog theme.
You can prepare HTML for WordPress blogs (as both of the above are) or Blogspot/Blogger blogs to make them usable by the maximum number of bloggers.
